Joanne Bradshaw who studies Business thought she was too old, but found out that HE was full of adult learners. She was her own worst enemy, and told herself lots of things that prevented her from going into HE. She found out that there was an answer to every barrier she put up.
Kathryn Murphy studies Law, after surviving terrible domestic circumstances she found she had a choice in her life – she chose to grow, develop and rebuild herself. It’s never too late, she says, studying at HE felt like being able to turn the clock back 11 years. She knew what her dreams were but couldn’t imagine having the skills to become a legal professional, but couldn’t give up on the idea. She sought careers advice and found out that there were possibilities.
