Lindsay Hackett studies Social Work, she talks about the work life balance, and how to make time for study and your family. She says the college environment is inclusive and supportive, lecturers offer lots of tutorials for study and assignment work. She says believe in yourself – now is the right time, it will be hard and challenging – but worth it.
Holly Meaden studies Childhood Studies, Care and Education, she says its far more of an adult relationships with your lecturers who can become mentors, she worked as a lecturer whilst studying during lockdown, was difficult. You never stop learning she says, He helps you learn so much about yourself.
Sadie Bovey is doing Social Work, she says it’s difficult to find the time to study as a mum, but life experience has enhanced her learning potential. If you have the commitment you will find ways to make it work she states.
