The award-winning Social Mobility Business Partnership (SMBP) is running multiple Work Insight & Skills programmes across 2023 for students aged 16 – 18. This programme takes place from 24th – 28th July.
The programme will provide the opportunity to spend time with high-profile organisations where you will learn about their business, the career routes available, and develop key skills in interactive business-like tasks. Over the week students will
- Day 1: A Resilience day with the Exeter Chiefs
- Day 2: Pennon Group
- Day 3: Princess Yachts
- Day 4: Foot Anstey Solicitors
- Day 5: Exeter University
Each day involves quality work experience in dealing with real-life business simulation exercises in a range of businesses that enable students to build their competencies, make valuable connections and networks and gives students things talk about in interview as they explore future career opportunities. The alumni who attend the programme then get access to SMBP’s App giving them access to lifetime career support and mentoring.
