Leaf Changemakers Fellowship

Leaf Change Makers Fellowship is a fully-funded, one week summer residential programme at the University of Oxford.

Leaf is an independent nonprofit that supports exceptional sixth-formers to explore how they can best save lives, help others, or change the course of history. Being fully funded means that tuition, travel, food, and accommodation are all covered.

  • Who: Smart, curious, and altruistic 16-18 year olds of any subject background with a high proportion of GCSEs at Grade 8-9.
  • Where: Wycliffe Hall, Oxford (a college of Oxford University)
  • When: 19-27 August, 2023

This is not your typical summer course – Leaf encourage Changemaker Fellows to consider how they can steer the course of history towards a more positive future through relating their intended university subject to global issues. Fellows think critically about societal problems like poverty, climate change, and risks from AI, as well as how to tackle them.

Leaf alumni have gone on to do brilliant things including studying at top universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Harvard, and LSE; undertaking independent research projects; launching conferences and winning academic prizes.  Leaf’s aim is to continue to support young people with similar ambitions who hope to make a difference with their lives.

The first round application only takes 10 minutes to complete and can be found here

Priority will be given to applications received by 7th May.
