You could do a Level 3 Diploma in Warehouse Operations or a Level 4 or 5 Diploma in Supply Chain Management.

  • 4 or 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, for a level 3 course
  • 1 or 2 A levels, a level 3 diploma or relevant experience for a level 4 or level 5 course

Apprenticeship

You can do a transport and warehouse operations supervisor advanced apprenticeship.

Entry requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs at grades 9 to 4 (A* to C), or equivalent, including English and maths, for an advanced apprenticeship

Work

You could start as a team leader or assistant manager in a warehouse.

You could then move into a warehouse manager role once you have experience and qualifications in warehouse or transport distribution.

What you'll do:

  • monitor stock levels and and set aside storage space
  • make sure stock is stored correctly and safely
