What is Sheffield Live: Teacher and Advisor takeover?

The popular Sheffield Live series is now available for teachers and advisors – the aim is to offer accessible and informative online sessions, covering key topics to help you best support your students through the university application process. Sessions will run throughout the year and cover topics such as Clearing, UCAS updates, wellbeing guidance and support. You’ll also have the opportunity to shape the content of future sessions.

An introduction to Access Sheffield – Tuesday 19 September at 4pm-5pm

We recognise that each individual has different circumstances that may impact their student journey. In this session, the Access Service will cover the range of support they offer to students who are underrepresented in higher education, including local and national widening access programmes, contextual admissions policies, bursaries and transition support. The team will also be on hand to take your questions.

Careers and employability at Sheffield – Thursday 30 November at 4pm-5pm

Studying at Sheffield is about more than gaining a degree. We want students to leave university with the skills and confidence they need for the future they want. For this session we’ll be joined by members of our top quality, innovative Careers Service who will tell you all about the support they offer to our students and graduates.
