Next Steps South West – Privacy Statement

Next Steps South West is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. Should you provide us with identifiable information about yourself through our website, we will only use it in accordance with this privacy statement. Who are we?

Next Steps South West is a collaborative partnership between fourteen higher education providers in South West England. You can see a full list of our partners here.

The project works closely with schools and colleges in the region to identify and support students in years 9-13 from disadvantaged areas. The programme is supported and funded by the Office for Students.

What information do we collect from you through our website?

Personal information

We collect personal information from you when you voluntarily complete our online forms. We also collect data that you may provide when contacting us via email.

Event listings – Our website lists events that are organised by Next Steps South West. We also list events that are organised by our partner institutions. As a user, you have the option to submit an enquiry about these events through the ‘Register Interest’ feature.

For enquiries relating to events organised by our partners, Next Steps South West do not store, control, or process your data. The information you provide via the form will be automatically sent directly to the institution responsible for organising the event so that they can respond to your query. You should check the Privacy Policy of the relevant institution to find out how they manage your data.

For enquiries relating to events that are organised either fully or partially by Next Steps South West, or to bookable resources that are offered by Next Steps South West, we will only use the data you supply for the purpose of responding to your enquiry or request. We will not share this data with third parties; neither will we use this data for direct marketing purposes.
