Exeter STEM Beyond Boundaries aims to encourage collaboration between the University of Exeter students and those of schools and colleges. Sessions are designed to encourage young female students to meet our female students who are studying for a university level STEM degree to create an environment that promotes the idea that science careers are within their reach.
Wednesday 29th March, 10am – 2pm
The STEM day consists of interactive sessions made up of engaging activities that will encourage students to consider the possibility of studying or working in STEM. The content includes:
- Presentations from our current students showcasing some of the exciting STEM projects they have been involved with.
- Video-presentations and quizzes on growth mindset.
- Quizzes about topics in Science, Technology, Mathematics and Engineering.
- Q&A session.
- Campus tour provided by a team of University Student Ambassadors.
