The Cornish Robotics & Engineering Convention offers an insight into university-level studies in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM), along with an exploration of career prospects for students in the South West.

It is designed to help enthuse students with their current studies through exciting, hands-on workshops led by leading academics and professionals in Computing Technologies, Robotics, and Engineering careers.

Students will gain a tangible idea of what university-level courses are like through experiencing a series of workshops at Truro & Penwith College, including a Robotics competition. There will be opportunities for students to learn more about careers and courses available in the South West in the Careers Exhibition during the day.

The day is suitable for any students who are interested in a career in ICT, Mathematics, Engineering, Robotics, Design, and Science.

Additional Information:

One water bottle and a snack of either a flapjack or a piece of fruit will be provided for students in the course of the morning. Students will need to bring a packed lunch as Truro & Penwith College operate a cashless catering system.

Tea/coffee will be provided for staff members only.

Please note: Parking is very limited at the Truro Campus, so booking a space for a minibus or coach is essential.
