Marine Science and Conservation Day

This will be a one-day standalone event which will consist of a virtual workshop on marine plastics at Mount Batten Beach in the morning (hosted by the National Marine Aquarium) followed by a virtual HE fair live-streamed in the afternoon.

You will have the opportunity to engage with employers, academics and student ambassadors as well as receive HE course-focused talks from a range of local HEIs across Devon and Cornwall. The day will finish with a virtual tour of the University of Plymouth Marine Building, including the wave tank and ship simulator!

This event will help you prepare and plan for your pathway into higher education, and also give you an understanding of the various marine based courses available within this sector.

To book your place please, speak to your school’s NSSW in-school coordinator.
