For students applying to UCAS for 2026 entry and after (meaning those entering Year 12), there will be a new structure for personal statements. Rather than lengthy text, the personal statement will now consist of 3 sections. These sections will focus on why students have chosen the course, their super-curricular and extracurricular activities that have supported their preparation, and a thoughtful reflection on these topics.
Sunday 10th November from 9:30am – 3:30pm
The Get into Medicine or Get Into Dentistry Conference is a complete guide to the medical or dental application journey. Students get essential insights into the medical/dental UCAS application process (such as the NEW personal statement structure), connect with professionals, fellow students, and gain a deeper understanding of a future career in medicine or dentistry.
During this conference Dr Kennedy, Dr Safiyyah and I will guide students through essential topics such as:
- Application Timelines
- How to Tactically Choose Medical Schools
- CV Building
- Personal Statements
- Interview Schools
- Medical Leadership and Awards Programmes
- Accessing Work Experience
- UCAT – Entrance Exams to Medical School
- Accessing Scholarships
Please note that all students must be accompanied by a parent/guardian for safeguarding purposes. (One booking = one booking for a student + their parent/guardian). Spaces are competitive and limited, so students should register as soon as they can and for this reason, please only book one conference.
