Be part of the solution! This brand new conservation course looks at the impact of human actions in relation to climate change and biodiversity loss – and how a “triple-challenge” approach can be used, centred around climate, people and nature, in conservation work.
The course has been sponsored by WWF and it’s free for all Y12-13 state school students.

Join students from across the UK for an inspiring, challenging short course that will add value to the Preparation for HE section of the UCAS application form.
Course Objectives
- To introduce the basic principles of conservation
- To reflect upon the different approaches to conservation that are taken a) in the UK and b) globally
- To explore a variety of case studies world-wide that are working to a common goal to preserve a future where nature and people thrive
The course will be delivered online using a variety of methods, including lectures, student presentations, self-directed learning and class discussions. There will be some preparatory work.
